Day 5: Seoul to Jeonju
Travel to Jeonju by KTX train. Check into a traditional hanok guesthouse. Explore Jeonju Hanok Village, known for its traditional houses and artisan shops. The village is characterized by its narrow alleys, traditional wooden homes with curved tile roofs, and serene courtyards. Many of these hanoks have been converted into guesthouses, restaurants, cafes, art galleries, and shops, allowing visitors to experience traditional Korean culture firsthand. Enjoy traditional Korean performances at the Jeonju Hanok Village Performance Hall.
Day 6: Jeonju to Gyeongju
Depart Jeonju for Gyeongju, the ancient capital of the Silla Dynasty. Visit Bulguksa Temple and the Seokguram Grotto. Bulguksa Temple is a renowned Buddhist temple located in Gyeongju, South Korea. It is considered one of the most important and historically significant temples in the country, as well as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Seokguram Grotto is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located on Mount Toham near the city of Gyeongju in South Korea. It is renowned for housing one of the most magnificent Buddhist sculptures in the world, a statue of the Buddha Amitabha in the main chamber of the grotto. Stroll around Anapji Pond, especially beautiful at night.
