Day 1
Guest will be received at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport / or Thiruvananthapuram Railway Station and driven to the Hotel. Check-in to the hotel and freshen up. Enjoy a traditional South Indian breakfast at a local restaurant. After Breakfast Guest will visit the Padmanabhaswamy Temple, One of the most revered Vishnu Temples in India and a significant pilgrim site. It is considered as the richest worship place in the world. Remember to dress modestly. There may be specific dress codes required for entry. Traditional Indian wear is required for entry so it’s best to check in advance.
Afternoon enjoy a traditional Kerala meal at a nearby restaurant. After lunch head to the Napier Museum, located nearby. This museum houses, a rare collection of archaeological and historical artifacts, including bronze idols, ancient ornaments and ivory carvings. Spend some time exploring the exhibits to delve into Kerala’s rich cultural heritage and then visit Sree Chithra Art Gallery, which is located within the same complex as the Napier Museum. This gallery houses a remarkable collection of Indian paintings, including works by Raja Ravi Varma, Nicholas Roerich and various other renowned artists.
After exploring the art gallery, spend the evening at Shangumugham Beach. Enjoy a picnic with your family, witness the sunset, indulge in some local street food and relax.
Day 2
After the early Breakfast, Guests will be transported on a day trip to Ponmudi Hill Station, a picturesque hill station located about 55 km from Thiruvananthapuram. Enjoy the scenic drive through winding roads surrounded by lush greenery and misty mountains.
Upon arrival, spend your afternoon exploring the hill station's natural beauty. You can go for a light trek or walk to enjoy the lush greenery and cool climate of Ponmudi. Visit the Golden Valley viewpoint and take a dip in the Kallar river. Have a picnic lunch amidst the hills, enjoying the serene environment and stunning views.
Bring along some snacks and water for the journey, as there may be limited options for refreshments along the way. Wear comfortable walking shoes and carry a light jacket or shawl, as the weather in Ponmudi can be cooler than in Thiruvananthapuram.
Late afternoon, visit the Ponmudi crest which offers panoramic views of the Western Ghats. It is perfect for some memorable family photos. Head back to Thiruvananthapuram. If time permits, you could stop by a local restaurant for dinner. Tour Ends and Guests will be driven back to hotel.
Day 3
After the Breakfast at 7 AM Guests will proceed to Kovalam Beach. Spend your final day relaxing at Kovalam Beach. One of the most famous beaches in Kerala for its crystal-clear waters and soft sandy beaches, located around 16km away from Thiruvananthapuram. Engage in beach activities, such as sunbathing, swimming or indulge in water sports like surfing and parasailing. Apply sunscreen generously and stay hydrated throughout the day, especially if you plan to spend extended periods under the sun.
Enjoy a seafood lunch at one of the beachside restaurants, offering fresh seafood and local dishes. After lunch visit the Lighthouse beach and if you are up for it, climb the lighthouse for a spectacular view of the coastline. Spend the rest of your evening relaxing at the beach. Don't miss witnessing the mesmerizing sunset views over the Arabian Sea. Carry a camera or smartphone to capture the picturesque sunset moments. Now the Guest will procced to Kanyakumari and check-in to a star hotel near the beach.
Day 4
Get up early to watch spectacular and famous of Kanyakumari. ‘Kanyakumari’ means The Virgin (or Kanya) Princess', referring to Devi Kanya Kumari, also known as Cape Comorin, is a city in Kanyakumari district in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It is the southernmost tip of the Indian subcontinent and the southernmost city in mainland India. Kanyakumari is at the confluence of the Indian ocean, Arabian sea and the Bay of Bengal. It's the only place in India where you can see both the sunrise and sunset at the same spot.
Notable tourist spots include its unique sunrise and sunset points, the 41 Meters (133 ft) Thiruvalluvar Statue, and Vivekananda Rock Memorial off the coast. Lying at the tip of peninsular India, the town is bordered on the west, south, and east by the Laccadive Sea. On the shores of the city is a temple dedicated to Hindu Goddess Kanyakumari (the virgin Goddess), after which the town is named.[4] Kanyakumari has been a city since the Sangam period and was referred to in old Malayalam (Kerala’s local language). It is recommended to take the breakfast after watching sunrise. After the Breakfast Gusts will be taken a guided tour to visit nearby 41-metre (133 ft) Tiruvallur Statue, Vivekananda Rock Memorial off the coast, Bhagavathy Amman Temple, an ancient temple. After the guided tour guests can take break to indulge many activities in the beach and sea. We will start our northwards journey at 5PM from the hotel. Our next destination will be Thiruvananthapuram, capital city of Kerala where we will stay at the night.
Tour Ends and Guests will be driven back to the Pickup point
