Then visit Pashupatinath Temple, a sacred Hindu temple complex on the banks of the Bagmati River is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Witnessing the cremation rituals here can be a powerful and moving experience. Visit Swayambhunath Stupa, nicknamed the "Monkey Temple" due to the presence of numerous monkeys, this ancient Buddhist stupa is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
