The team expected to reach Marayoor Sandalwood Forest at 7:30 AM. Before entering the forest we will have breakfast. This region is unique as it is home to the only natural sandalwood forest in Kerala. Marayoor’s sandalwood trees are not just a natural wonder but also an integral part of the cultural and historical landscape of the area.Marayoor has a natural sandalwood forest with around 65,000 trees. The team will spend 1 hour and 30 minutes there.
After that the team will go to Gulmohar View Point, a tranquil spot that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The view point offers stunning vistas of the lush green tea plantations, mist-covered hills, and valleys that Munnar is famous for. During certain times of the year, the Gulmohar trees in the area are in full bloom, adding a burst of vibrant red and orange hues to the landscape. The girls will spend 1 hour there.
After that the group will proceed to Lakkam Waterfalls. An interesting feature about this waterfall is that it starts from a plateau and not a hill, which is the case with most other falls. Originating from the Eravikulam Plateau, Lakkam Waterfalls collect into a pool. They will spend 1 hour and 30 minutes at the Waterfall.
After that the team will proceed to Nyayamakad Waterfall, nestled among the green valleys of Western Ghats. It is surrounded by the vast meadows of Eravikulam National Park and the tea plantations on the slopes of Nilgiri Hills. The girls will spend 1 hour there. Then the team will have lunch.
Then visit Pothamedu View Point, one of the most popular scenic spots. The viewpoint is known for its mesmerizing views of the mist-covered hills, winding rivers, and deep valleys. On a clear day, you can see the vast expanse of the Western Ghats, with its rugged mountain ranges and deep valleys.
Winding up the Tour with a visit to Ripple Waterfalls, a hidden gem located near Munnar. The waterfall gets its name from the gentle rippling effect created as the water cascades down the rocky terrain. The water flows over a series of rocks, creating a soothing sound that adds to the tranquil atmosphere of the place. The area around Ripple Waterfalls is rich in flora, with a variety of trees, plants, and wildflowers adding to the beauty of the surroundings. They will spend 2 hours there. Team will have their dinner on the way back home.
