Day 1: Arrival
8:00 AM - Arrival at Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary Entrance
Arrive at the sanctuary entrance where you will be greeted by a guide.
Complete necessary registration and get a briefing on the day's activities.
Begin your trek to Thoovanam Falls, guided by an experienced naturalist.
Along the way, the guide will point out various flora and fauna, including medicinal plants and endemic species.
Take breaks to enjoy the scenery and capture photographs.
11:00 AM - Reach Thoovanam Falls
Spend some time relaxing by the falls. Enjoy the serene environment and the sound of cascading water.
Light refreshments and snacks will be provided.
Start your trek back to the sanctuary base, taking a different route to explore more of the sanctuary.
Keep an eye out for wildlife such as spotted deer, langurs, and birds.
Enjoy a packed lunch at the Interpretation Centre. The meal will include local delicacies.
Take a short rest and freshen up.
2:00 PM - Visit to Interpretation Centre and Museum
Learn about the sanctuary's ecosystem, wildlife, and conservation efforts through exhibits and displays.
Visit the museum to see artifacts related to the local tribal culture and wildlife.
3:00 PM - Jeep Safari to the Dry Deciduous Forest Area
Embark on a jeep safari to explore the dry deciduous forest area of the sanctuary.
Look out for elephants, sambar deer, and other wildlife. The guide will provide insights into the behavior and habitat of the animals.
Stop at viewpoints to enjoy the panoramic views of the sanctuary.
5:00 PM - Visit to the Watch Tower
Climb the watchtower for a bird's-eye view of the sanctuary. This is a great spot for birdwatching and observing wildlife from a distance.
Capture the stunning landscapes and wildlife sightings.
Head back to the sanctuary base.
Visit the eco-shop for souvenirs and local handicrafts.
