The team expected to reach Munnar at 8:00 AM. Team will have their breakfast on the way. The Company Executive will join the team there. We will start our trip by visiting Nyayamakad Waterfalls, nestled among the green valleys of Western Ghats. It is surrounded by the vast meadows of Eravikulam National Park and the tea plantations on the slopes of Nilgiri Hills.The girls will spend 1 hour there.
After that the team will go to Eravikulam National Park, Known for its population of the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. The park also hosts various species of butterflies, birds, and other mammals. The park becomes a hot destination when the hill slopes get covered in a carpet of blue, resulting from the flowering of Neelakurinji. The team will spend 2 hours 30 minutes there.
After visiting the National Park, the group will proceed to Anamudi Peak, the highest peak in southern India. The peak resembles the elephant’s forehead and thus, it’s named Anamudi. The girls will spend 1 hour 30 minutes at the Peak. Then the team will have lunch.
Then visit the Vaguvarrai Estate, Vagavurrai got its name from the Vagaa flower (commonly known as the malaria flower). This entire area has a wealth of flora and fauna. Rare rhododendrons are found in parts of Vaguvurrai and Gundumalliy, as do the much sought-after Kurinji in Vagavurrai. It is also known for its rich wildlife, including elephants, bison, mouse deer, sambar and porcupines. Team will spend 1 hour there.
After that the team will proceed to Lakkam Waterfalls. An interesting feature about this waterfall is that it starts from a plateau and not a hill, which is the case with most other falls. Originating from the Eravikulam Plateau, Lakkam Waterfalls collect into a pool. They will spend 15 to 30 minutes at the Waterfall.
Winding up the Tour with a visit to Marayoor Sandalwood Forest. Marayoor has a natural sandalwood forest with around 65,000 trees. The sandalwood of Marayoor is said to be of high quality. They will spend 2 hours at the Forest. Team will have their dinner on the way back home.
