Day 1
Guest will be received at Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru / Bengaluru Railway Station and driven to the hotel. Check-in at your hotel and rest for a while or you can start exploring the city immediately. In the evening, head to experience Bangalore's bustling streets and vibrant atmosphere. You can visit local markets, dine at traditional restaurants, or explore popular nightlife spots.
Day 2
Start your day with breakfast at your hotel. Start your day with a visit to Lalbagh Botanical Garden. This 240-acre botanical haven in the heart of Bangalore is home to over a thousand species of flora, a lake, and a few historical monuments. The garden's crowning jewel is the Glass House, inspired by London's Crystal Palace, which hosts a bi-annual flower show attracting thousands. Lalbagh is also known for its centuries-old rock formations, considered among the oldest geological formations on earth, providing a unique backdrop to the lush greenery. The garden is a testament to the vision of its founder, Hyder Ali, and his son Tipu Sultan, who wished to create an extensive collection of rare plants and trees from around the world. It's a favored spot for morning walks, bird watching, and enjoying a quiet retreat from the city's bustle. It is home to more than 6,000 trees that support a vibrant ecosystem. Another famous attraction in the Cubbon Park is The Bangalore Aquarium, which is the second largest aquarium in India. Cubbon Park was originally spread over 100 acres, which was later extended to 300 acres. Explore Vidhana Soudha, a famous landmark in Bengaluru that houses the Secretariat and the State Legislature. The stately white building is made in Mysore Neo-Dravidian architecture with Indo-Saracenic and Dravidian influences incorporated as various elements. The Vidhana Soudha has 300 rooms, which are used by the different departments of the state government. The grand structure stands 46 metre high, making it one of the most magnificent buildings in the city. In the evening, you can explore shopping streets like MG Road and Brigade Road for souvenirs and local specialties.
Day 3
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Mysore. The distance from Bangalore to Mysore is 143 kilometres and it takes around approximately 2 hours 30 minutes drive. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and freshen up. Visit Mysore Palace, or Amba Vilas Palace, is a magnificent example of Indo-Saracenic architecture, blending Hindu, Muslim, Rajput, and Gothic styles seamlessly. It's known for its grandeur, intricate interiors, and the ceremonial practices that continue to this day. The palace lights up with thousands of bulbs on Sundays and during the Dasara festival, creating a mesmerizing spectacle. Inside, visitors can explore the opulent Durbar Hall, the Kalyana Mantapa with its exquisite stained-glass ceiling, and a series of paintings depicting the royal history of Mysore. Explore Devaraja Market, a vibrant indication to the city's rich cultural heritage, bustling commerce, and the trove of daily life of vendors that characterises Indian bazaars. The Devaraja market is the most bustling market of all time. There are people buying flowers, vegetables, fruits to their home, bargaining with almost every vendor to reduce the price. The Devaraja market has its own intricate architecture, there are shops of aromatic spices in some corners, colourful textiles to buy, and a very lively atmosphere. Devaraja Market offers visitors an unique and immersive experience that captures the essence of Mysore. In the evening, witness the mesmerizing illumination of Mysore Palace, a spectacle not to be missed. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Hassan. The distance from Mysore to Hassan is 111 kilometres and it takes around approximately 2 hours 30 minutes to reach. En route, visit Sravanabelagola, an important Jain pilgrimage centre with a 57 m tall monolithic sculpture of Lord Gomateswara called Bahubali statue as its prime attraction. Every 12 years, Mahamasthabhisheka of Lord Bahubali is performed as a part of Jain culture and this is one most auspicious events in Karnataka. The last festival happened in 2018 and it was 88th festival. The first Mahamasthabisheka was in 981 AD. The next festival is to happen in 2030. Continue your journey to Hassan and check into your hotel. In the afternoon, explore the architectural wonders of Belur and Halebidu, two hidden treasures nestled in the heart of Karnataka. Belur and Halebidu, both belonging to the Hoysala dynasty, boast architectural wonders that have stood the test of time. Day 5
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Hospet. The distance from Hassan to Hospet is 309 kilometres and it takes around 5 to 6 hours drive. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax. You can visit Tungabhadra Dam, an engineering marvel, or explore the local markets to experience the culture and cuisine of the region. Day 6
Start your day with breakfast at your hotel. Embark on a full-day excursion to Hampi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore The Ruins of Hampi, including Virupaksha Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, and renowned for its intricate carvings and architecture. This temple is the only temple in Hampi that still stands. Other temples in the district were destroyed by the Bahamani sultanate. The most eye-catching feature of this temple is that it is built using mathematical concepts and the main shape of the temple is triangular. Visit Vittala Temple, an ancient monument that is well-known for its exceptional architecture and unmatched craftsmanship. It is considered to be one of the largest and the most famous structure in Hampi. The temple is located in the north eastern part of Hampi, near the banks of the Tungabhadra River. Explore other attractions like Lotus Mahal, the Royal Enclosure, Hazara Rama Temple, and the Hampi Bazaar.
