The team expected to reach Aluva Manappuram at 6:20 AM . Company Executive will join the team there. We will start our trip by visiting Aluva Mahadeva Temple, an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva, and situated on the bank of the Periyar River at Aluva manappuram. The girls will spend 45 minutes at the temple and manappuram. After that the team will go to Hill Palace Museum through Kochi Metro. Hill Palace Museum is the largest archeological museum & palace, which was the imperial administrative office and official residence of the Cochin Maharaja. Before entering into the museum, the team will have breakfast. They will spend (maximum) 2: 00 hours at the museum. After visiting the museum group will proceed to the historical town of Fort Kochi.
Towards the trip to Fort Kochi, the team can view Cochin Shipyard, (currently INS Vikranth stationed there), Venduruthy Bridge, Naval base, Old Airport (Currently under Indian Navy), Willington Island, oldest man made major Island in Asia, currently biggest artificial island in India.
Upon arrival at Fort Kochi, visit Mattancherry Palace, also known as the Dutch Palace, famous for its stunning murals depicting Hindu Mythology and portraits of the Cochin Rajas. They will spend 45 minutes at the palace. Then explore Jew Town, a historic area known for its antique shops, spice markets, and the Jewish Synagogue. Then the team will visit the St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India, where the Portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama was originally buried. Team will have lunch at Fort Kochi. If time Permits, the group will spend some time at Fort Kochi Beach. Take a stroll along the Fort Kochi beach to see the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets, which are unique to Kochi and a symbol of its maritime heritage.
Then the team will proceed to the Ferry Station, Fort Kochi. The Jankar Service will take the team to Vypin Jankar Ferry Station. As a tourist to Kochi, this is a unique experience. Kochi is one of the very few places in India where Jankar Ferry operates for commuting people along with their vehicles. Get a panoramic view of Kochi's Marine Drive as you cross to Fort Kochi. You're essentially crossing the shipping channel at the mouth of the Vembanad lake joining the Arabian Sea. Chances are very high you'll see giant cargo ships, gently entering the port while on the Jankar. As you approach the shore, you'll get a panoramic view of the Chinese fishing net, lined along the shore. If you're lucky, you'll spot Dolphins playing around and jump up from the water.
Visit the National Shrine Basilica of Our Lady of Ransom, Vallarpadam. a major Christian pilgrimage center. Around 5 million people visit the basilica every year. People from all parts of the world irrespective of caste or creed go to the church to seek the blessings of the Blessed Virgin Mary, mother of Jesus, popularly known as "Vallarpadathamma". After visiting the church, proceed to Marine Drive for a Cruise trip. This Cruise boat is a seagoing luxury vessel with live music and dance floor. Guests will have Lunch in the Boat. In Cruise boat guests can enjoy Dj Music, Dancing and viewing spectacular sites in the Kochi Kayal and Estuary (Azhimukham) of Periyar and near sea (Kochi Kayal near Marine Drive, Ernakulam from where our cruise starts can be considered part of the Periyar River. But when the Journey advances to westwards a part of the Vembanat Kayal joins with the Periyar. Both water bodies drain to the Arabian Sea through the Estuary (Azhimukham) which is approximately 24 Km from the marine Drive). During the cruise Vessel will navigate from the Marine Drive to few kilometer inside the Arabian sea providing views of Bolgatty Island, Raman Thuruthi, Vallarpadam Container Terminal, Goshree Bridges, Vypin Island, LNG Terminal, Chinese Fishing Nets and Passes through Estuary and travel inside the Arabian Sea for 30 to 45 minutes. On returning, guests can view Fort Kochi, Willington Island and Taj Malabar Hotel in the Island.
Proceed to Lulu Mall, one of the largest shopping centers in India in terms of total area. Go shopping at Lulu Fashion Store or Hypermarket.
