Day 1
Guest will be received at Cochin International Airport / or Ernakulam Railway Station and driven to first Destination, Munnar. Munnar is approximately 120km from airport and takes 3:30 to 4:00 hrs. to reach by car/bus. On the midway there two waterfalls namely Cheeyapara and Valara where the team stop for some times to relax and photos. Munnar is a pleasant hill station.
Check-in a star hotel. Now tourists are free to spent the evening and night as they wish. There are a lot of restaurants and picnic spots in the town and near areas. An experienced guide will be available to advice the tourists. Tourists will be staying two more nights in the same hotel. Visit Blossom Hydel Park, Munnar, which is only 20km from the hotel and a major tourist attraction. If we reach early we will spent 2 hours in the park. If we don't get enough time we will include it in the second day evening.
Day 2
After Breakfast, Proceed to a full day local sight-seeing. at Top Station , Vattavada, Kundala Dam (Apart from site seeing 30 mints boat riding is arranged for all Guests. Echo Point, Mattupetty Dam, Carmalagiri Elephant Park. In this park guest can ride on Elephants for a fee.
Top Station got its name from the fact that it was the uppermost railway station, located in the Kundala Valley. This destination is popular for many reasons, however, the famous Neelakurinji flowers (Strobilanthus), which bloom once in twelve years, makes this place special among tourists. Other things that make this a place worth visiting are its amazing tea plantation, serene valleys, enchanting waterfalls, and exotic forest life. One can try different types of boating facilities here, like pedal boating, Kashmiri Shikkara boating, row boating, speed boating, and more. Horseback ride and balloon shooting games are other activities that keep the kids and adults engaged. Tour Ends and Guests will be driven back to Hotel.
Day 3
After the Break fast at 7 AM Guests will proceed to Eravikulam National Park - We have 2 hours to spent on this green misty mountainous park. Guests will indulge this green misty by various sight seeing, Hiking programs inside the Park. Visit Rajamala Great for climbing hills and cliffs. Rajamalai is one of the high altitude moutain in western ghats. Nayamakadu Waterfalls, the dense thickness of the green and damp forest around, and a terrain full of massive rocks provide an exciting trail for the trekkers. Here we will do Rock Climbing or walking on less slop paths. We will spend one hour here. Lakkam Waterfalls, a brief stop to enjoy the waterfall. Marayur and nearby Sandal Forest, enjoy and experience selected spots with natural beauty and Archeological importance. Marayur Jaggery Factory (Optional), Kanthallur Fruits & Vegetable Gardens - Brief stop. Tour Ends and Guests will be driven back to Hotel.
Day 4
After Breakfast drive to Poopara, enjoying the scenic beauty of the Western Ghats along the way. The distance from Munnar to Poopara is 32 kilometers and it takes around approximately 1 hour drive. Poopara is famous for its stunning natural beauty, vibrant culture and delicious cuisine. The views from this hill station are nothing short of breathtaking with verdant hills rolling into misty valleys and pristine waterfalls cascading down rocky cliffs. Arrive in Poopara and check into your hotel. Take a leisurely walk around the village to soak in the serene surroundings and observe the local way of life. Visit the nearby tea estates to witness the tea-picking process and learn about tea cultivation in the region. Engage with the local tea workers and gain insights into their daily routine and traditions. We have a included a cardomom planation visit in this package. In the afternoon, take a short trek or nature walk in the surrounding hills to explore the biodiversity of the region and enjoy panoramic views. Visit a nearby viewpoint for breathtaking sunset views over the mountains. Capture memorable photographs of the picturesque landscapes bathed in the golden hues of the setting sun. Day 5
After Breakfast, proceed to Theni. Enjoy the scenic drive through the verdant landscapes of the Western Ghats. Theni, dotted by luscious patches of greenery and beautiful waterfalls. The distance from Poopara to Theni is 32 kilometers and it takes around approximately 1 hour drive. Prepare a scenic drive to the Kolukkumalai Tea Estate, where you will be greeted by the breathtaking views of the rolling hills and lush tea plantations. In the afternoon, proceed to Kolukkumalai Viewpoint and and marvel at the panoramic views stretching as far as the eye can see. Take in the breathtaking sight of the lush greenery, mist-covered mountains, and the vast expanse of the plains below. Spend some time at the viewpoint, capturing stunning photographs and soaking in the tranquility of the surroundings. Tour Ends and Guests will be driven back to Hotel.
Day 6
After Breakfast, Guests will be check out from the hotel and proceed to Kodaikanal, one of the most famous honeymoon destinations in India. Kodaikanal has a beautiful climate, mist-covered manicured cliffs and waterfall that come together to create the ideal setting for a perfect getaway. Kodaikanal means 'the gift of the forests'. Kodaikanal is a place you can go to take a break from the rigours of daily city life, and this hill station lets you sit back and connect with nature as you head out on biking or trekking trails or take a stroll through the vast forests surrounding the town. Enjoy the picturesque journey to the hill station. Check into your hotel in Kodaikanal. In the evening visit Kodaikanal Lake, most famous landmark of Kodaikanal & one of the top tourist places to visit in Kodaikanal town. The lake is surrounded by beautiful valleys, a boat club, and buildings from the colonial period. There is a walkway around the lake that offers wonderful views. Witness the beautiful sunset over the lake. Today, a large number of tourists, including kids, stroll around, sail, ride horses and ponies and cycles and admire the lake. Day 7
After Breakfast, Guests will be proceed to Coaker's Walk, a beautiful man-made one-kilometer-long walking plaza built on the mountains in the mesmerizing city of Kodaikanal. The lovely path of Coakers Walk that curves by the edge of the gorgeous mountain have been constructed mainly for morning and evening walks. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the pathway. In the afternoon explore Bryant Park, a popular attraction amongst tourists and locals. The park is a sprawling botanical garden spread over an area of 20 acres. It is home to over 325 species of trees, shrubs and even cacti. With almost 85 varieties of flowering plants, the park sprawls with colour during the blooming seasons. Then visit the nearby Green Valley View Point ( Suicide point ), offers a breathtaking view of the plains, deep valleys and hills. The mesmerizing view of the Vaigai Dam is an unforgettable experience. It used to be known as suicide point because of the dangerous valley which is dense and deep; below the point of more than 5000 feet drop. The Green Valley View not just offers a gorgeous view, but is also surrounded by a lot of monkeys. Spend some time relaxing amidst the lush greenery.
In the evening, visit the Pillar Rocks, a set of three giant rock pillars which stand 400 feet high from the ground. The rocks stand majestically and offer wonderful views amidst thick vegetation and cloudy mountains. This is one of the best tourist places to visit in Kodaikanal and among the most scenic places in Kodai. The pillars are famous for providing bird's view of nearby surroundings. Day 8
