Day 1
Guest will be received at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport / Mumbai Railway Station and driven to the hotel. Check in at the hotel and freshen up. Your journey begins with a visit to the Gateway of India, city's most popular attractions, and many sightseeing tours start here. It has strong associations with British power, and became part of a ceremony marking the end of colonial rule in 1948, when soldiers from the Somerset Light Infantry crossed through the Gateway. Today visitors and locals alike flock here to stroll and take in the scenery, particularly around sunset. It is a landmark monument overlooking the Arabian Sea. Enjoy the sea breeze and take some memorable photos. Head to the nearby Colaba Causeway, a marketplace in the heart of the city of Mumbai. It is also a major cultural destination in Mumbai and has its roots inthe colonial (British and Portuguese rule) era in India. You can find a variety of items including clothes, accessories, handicrafts, and souvenirs. In the afternoon, visit Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, formerly Prince of Wales Museum of Western India is the main museum in Mumbai. The museum was renamed after Shivaji, the founder of Maratha Empire. The Museum has a representative collection of various forms of art from India and to a certain extent, Far-Eastern art, Nepal and Tibet. In the evening, take a stroll along Marine Drive, also known as the Queen's Necklace, and enjoy the sunset over the Arabian Sea.
Day 2
After Breakfast, you are off for a full day local sight-seeing. Visit the Elephanta Caves, a centuries-old collection of rock-carved caves with sculptural masterpieces including temples, deity statues and friezes. Labyrinthine caves spread across the pretty Elephanta Island. Discover seven caves on the island. The main temple is a captivating set of courtyards and halls dominated by imposing pillars and exquisite carvings. Take a ferry ride from the Gateway of India to reach the island and explore the ancient rock-cut temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Return to Mumbai and head to the iconic Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST), a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its stunning architecture. It is formerly known as Victoria Terminus Station. Take some time to admire the intricate details of this historic railway station. Explore the bustling markets of Crawford Market and Bhuleshwar Market, where you can find everything from spices and textiles to electronics and jewelry. Attend a cultural performance or live music event at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) or Prithvi Theatre, both renowned venues for the arts in Mumbai. Tour ends and the guest will be driven back to the hotel.
Day 3
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel and Checkout. Visit the Bandra-Worli Sea Link, an iconic cable-stayed bridge that offers panoramic views of the Mumbai skyline and the Arabian Sea. Marvel at the engineering finesse and sleek design of the bridge during a long drive and take photos (from inside the car) when the bridge is lit up at night. Also admire the skyline of Mumbai from here or take a leisurely walk along the promenade. Explore the Bandra neighborhood, known for its vibrant street art, trendy cafes, and boutique stores. Visit Bandra Fort for more scenic views of the sea. Bandra Fort is an ancient Portuguese Fort that is situated in Land’s End in the Bandra neighborhood of Mumbai. Besides being a major tourist spot in the region, the fort has also been featured in several Bollywood films. It is also known for its very stunning sunset views. It is considered the most perfect place to meditate and relax. Take a guided tour of Bollywood, the heart of India's film industry. Visit Film City or take a Bollywood studio tour to get a behind-the-scenes look at movie production. Conclude your tour with a visit to Juhu Beach, one of Mumbai's most popular beaches. Revel in a day of sun, sand, sea and stress-free relaxation at Juhu Beach. This sprawling sandy expanse sits on the shores of the Arabian Sea and is one of the largest beaches in Mumbai. Relax by the shore, enjoy some street food, and soak in the lively atmosphere before bidding farewell to the city.
