DAY 05 : Travel to Paro
After a healthy breakfast at the hotel, you will travel to Paro by road. Upon completing your journey to Paro, you will check-in to your hotel.
Take some rest and then head out to visit your first attraction in the city. National Museum of Bhutan speaks of myths, legends and ancient glory. The museum is also known as Ta Dzong and is shaped like a conch shell. It preserves Bhutanese architectures, values, and lifestyles.
You can then take a tour of the market of Bhutan and enjoy your leisure time in the city. Post that, return to your hotel for the night stay.
DAY 06 : Sightseeing in Paro
After your breakfast at the hotel, you will be heading to the Tiger’s Nest. The place is one of the most beautiful places in Bhutan and has great religious significance. It serves as one of the prime tourist destinations and lives up to it by offering beautiful and splendid views of the surroundings.
Your next destination is the Rinpung Dzong. This place is a fine example of marvellous architecture. Also known as Paro Dzong the place has a very spiritual environment and is beautifully lit-up in the evening. The dzong has many illustrations about the life of Buddha, which is the highlight of the place.
Lastly, you will head to the Dungtse Lhakhang. The place was built in the early 15th century and it provides an in-depth knowledge of Buddhism. This three storey temple has each storey representing hell, earth and heaven respectively.
Post this tiring day you can go back to your hotel and catch up on some rest.
