This packages intended for a first time visitor or visiting after a long duration to Kerala. We try to include maximum number of destinations including scenic picnic spots, Beaches, places of historical & cultural importance in the tour areas. Also we include House boat journeys, boating and rafting whichever popular in the tour area. But we will try to avoid long car journeys and crowded city traffic. Kerala is a tropical coastal strip with more than 44 major rivers and vast areas water bodies. Tour duration is 15 days and 14 nights. package price include accommodation and breakfast, travel in A/c cabs/minibuses, one Kerala Backwater sightseeing boat journey etc. The prices may be reduced for the groups who can travel together in a A/c mini bus. The actual prices and names of the hotel/resorts to stay and all other details will be specified final quotation and agreement.
Day 1
Guest will be received at Cochin International Airport / or Ernakulam Railway Station and driven to first Destination, Munnar. Munnar is approximately 120km from airport and takes 3:30 to 4:00 hrs to reach by car/bus. On the midway there two waterfalls namely Cheeyapara and Valara where the team stop for some times to relax and photos. Munnar is a pleasant hill station.
Check-in a star hotel. Now tourists are free to spent the evening and night as they wish. There are a lot of restaurants and picnic spots in the town and near areas. An experienced guide will be available to advice the tourists. Tourists will be staying two more nights in the same hotel.
Blossom Hydel Park, Munnar - is only 20km from the hotel and a major tourist attraction. If we reach early we will spent 2 hours in the park. If we dont get enough time we will include it in the second day evening
Day 2
After the Breakfast at 7 AM Guests will be transported to enjoy:-
Spectacular sights at Top Station , Vattavada, Kundala Dam (Apart from site seeing 30 mnts boat riding is arranged for all Guests. Echo Point, Mattupetty Dam, Carmalagiri Elephant Park. In this park guest can ride on Elephants for a fee.
Top Station got its name from the fact that it was the uppermost railway station, located in the Kundala Valley. This destination is popular for many reasons, however, the famous Neelakurinji flowers (Strobilanthus), which bloom once in twelve years, makes this place special among tourists. Other things that make this a place worth visiting are its amazing tea plantation, serene valleys, enchanting waterfalls, and exotic forest life. One can try different types of boating facilities here, like pedal boating, Kashmiri Shikkara boating, row boating, speed boating, and more. Horseback ride and balloon shooting games are other activities that keep the kids and adults engaged.

Day 3
After the Break fast at 7 AM Guests will proceed to Eravikulam National Park - We have 2 hours to spent on this green misty mountainous park. Guests will indulge this green misty by various sight seeing, Hiking programs inside the Park
Rajamala Great for climbing hills and cliffs. Rajamalai is one of the high altitude moutain in western ghats.
Nayamakadu Waterfalls The dense thickness of the green and damp forest around, and a terrain full of massive rocks provide an exciting trail for the trekkers. Here we will do Rock Climbing or walking on less slop paths. We will spend one hour here.
Lakkam Waterfalls, - Brief Stop to enjoy the waterfall

Day 4
After the Breakfast checkout the Munnar Hotel at 7 AM. Our next night camp will be in a star hotel in Thekkadi/ Kumily. On the way we will indulge the beauty and the excitement of the following destinations:
Kolukkumalai - Visit High Mountains and the Highest Tea Planation in the World. Here they cultivate organic tea and process with orthodox methods. Guest's are encouraged to climb to Top Station, Hiking to Kolukkumalai Spring Water Source (Fitness Level 3/5), Arahara Moutain Climb (F/l 5/5) and catch fantastic and memorable views.On way back we stop for a few minutes in a scenic village Suryanelli is known for its natural beauty, wildlife, and trekking trails. We plan to spent 2 to 3 hours in this enchanting location
Elephant Lake (Anayirangal Lake) - Interersted Guests can go for Boating at Elephant Abode Boating Centre. Everyone will enjoy beauty and fragrance offered by the nature.
Poopara - A scenic village with high cliffs around. Also there are many natural attraction around. We have a included a cardomom planation visit in this package.
Afte the visit of Poopara we will start our drive next destination Thekkadi/Kumily. There we will check-in a star hotel.
Day 5
After the Breakfast in the hotel at 7 AM we will go to Periyar National Park there we will spent 4 to 5 hours. Tour Package include 1.5 hour Boating tour through the lake surrounded with green forest. Normally we see Elephants come to drink water from the lake. Tourists can also spot sambhars, and tigers there. Guests can enjoy serene beauty of the forest and lake.
Bamboo Rafting Guests without children with them enjoy Bamboo Rafting 1 to 1.5hr duration. The price for the rafting shall be paid by the guest. The guest who are not interested to go for rafting enjoy walking through the safe zone of the near vicinities or engage other recreational activities around.
Visit to Kadathanadan Kalari and Navarasa Kathakali Centre to understand and enjoy Kalari Payattu, Kerala's own martial art. The place emanates an air of culture and historical heritage of Kerala. You can also learn martial arts at different levels here – basic, intermediate and advanced.The same place offer Kathakali (Kerala's Prominent Performing art)
Visit Mangaladevi Temple. Tucked away deep inside the forests of Periyar National Park is one of the most enchanting Thekkady tourist places, the Mangla Devi Temple. The temple is a pilgrim site for the religious.But that is not all – you can also enjoy a stroll in the woods around the area and witness the bewitching natural splendour. The trek to the temple is an interesting one too, with winding paths and deep jungles. If you are lucky, you can catch a sight of the exotic Nilgiri Tahrs and bison.

Day 6
After the Breakfast in the hotel at 6 AM we will go to Periyar National Park for 2nd time.

Day 7
After the Breakfast Checkout the hotel at 7 AM. Guests will go to next to destinations, passing through beautiful green hills and waterfalls, towards Thiruvananthapuram, capital city of Kerala. Tonight guests will camp in a hotel near Palaruvi Waterfalls. On the way we will enjoy and explore below mentioned beautiful locations.

This day is little long. But we will undertake another 2 and hours Journey to check in a 5 star/ 3 star hotel near Kovalam Beach. Next morning we will have more leisurely schedule
Day 8
After the Breakfast on your convenient time (but before 10 AM) go to the popular nearby Kovalam beaches. t
Relax on the pristine, Sandy beaches in Kovalm .
Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach with three adjacent beaches, Lighthouse Beach, Hawa Beach and Samudra Beach. These beaches are favourite haunt of tourists since the 1930s. A massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a beautiful bay of calm waters ideal for sea bathing. These beaches are renowned for its pristine sandy beaches that offer the perfect setting for sunbathing, swimming, and unwinding. Spend a lazy day lounging under the shade of palm trees. Take a dip in the crystal-clear waters.With activities like parasailing, snorkeling, windsurfing, jet skiing, backwater cruising and much more, the various beaches in Kovalam are a hot spot for thrilling water adventures. It is better book early for indulging water sports. In most of the Tourist centres in Kerala there are good Ayurveda Massage Centres and Wellness Centres. Tourist places like Kovalam offer many Ayurvedic Spas as well as International Spas. Previous booking save money and time.
We will spend many hours till 3PM (Time may be moved further depending upon the sunset timing in Kanyakumari) when we will check out the hotel and head for Kanyakumari where we should reach after 2:30 hours drive to watch beautiful sunset from Kanyakumari. Check in a star hotel in Kanyakumari. Either before checkin or after checkin we will spent a few moments watching sunset. Tomorrow morning we will see beautiful Sunrise from the same spot
Day 9
Get up early to watch spectacular and famous of Kanyakumari. ‘Kanniyakumari’ means The Virgin (or Kanya) Princess', referring to Devi Kanya Kumari, also known as Cape Comorin, is a city in Kanniyakumari district in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It is the southernmost tip of the Indian subcontinent and the southernmost city in mainland India. Kanyakumari is at the confluence of the Indian ocean, Arabian sea and the Bay of Bengal. It's the only place in India where you can see both the sunrise and sunset at the same spot.
Notable tourist spots include its unique sunrise and sunset points, the 41 Metres (133 ft) Thiruvalluvar Statue, and Vivekananda Rock Memorial off the coast. Lying at the tip of peninsular India, the town is bordered on the west, south, and east by the Laccadive Sea.On the shores of the city is a temple dedicated to Hindu Goddess Kanniyakumari (the virgin Goddess), after which the town is named.[4] Kanniyakumari has been a city since the Sangam period and was referred to in old Malayalam (Kerala’s local language). It is recommended to take the breakfast after watching sunrise. After the Breakfast Gusts will be taken a guided tour to visit nearby 41-metre (133 ft) Thiruvalluvar Statue, Vivekananda Rock Memorial off the coast, Bhagavathy Amman Temple, an ancient temple. After the guided tour guests can take break to indulge many activities in the beach and sea. We will start our northwards journey at 5PM from the hotel. Our next destination will be Thiruvananthapuram, capital city of Kerala where we will stay at the night.
Day 10
Begin your day early in the morning. Visit Padmanabhaswamy Temple, One of the most revered Vishnu Temples in India and a significant pilgrim site. It is considered as the richest worship place in the world. The temple’s deity Sri Padmanabha is 18 feet long, in a reclining position on the serpent Adi Shesha, whose hoods form an umbrella over his head. The sanctum has three doors: the first door provides a glimpse at the face and upper body of the deity, the second door provides a glance at Lord Brahma emerging from the navel of the deity on a lotus flower, and the third door provides a peek at the feet of Lord Padmanabha.
One has to follow the dress code while on a visit to the temple. For men and boys, the upper body can be left bare or covered with a shawl, whereas, a dhoti should be wrapped around the lower half of the body. For women and girls, a saree/dhoti with a blouse or a t-shirt with a long skirt/lehenga or a dhoti wrapped over the jeans/salwar suit.
Next, head to the Napier Museum, located nearby. a major attraction that exhibits the history of Kerala with respect to different rulers during different points of time. the museum showcases a collection of artefacts like armor, sculptures, handicrafts, ornaments, idols, carvings, musical instruments, coins, and chariots. The museum is closed on Monday and Wednesday forenoons.
Then visit Sree Chithra Art Gallery, also known as Sri Chitralayam, which is located within the same complex as the Napier Museum. The gallery displays rare collections of paintings from the Rajputs, Mughals, Rajasthan, Bengal and Tanjore schools of art, Tibetan Thangka along with the paintings by Raja Ravi Varma, Rabindranath Tagore, Jamini Roy, Svetoslav Roerich & Nicholas Roerich, and other talented artists. Numerous paintings in the gallery are gifted by the Kilimanoor Royal family and the Royal House of Travancore. Art fanatics and history enthusiasts searching for the best one-day trip places in Trivandrum should surely pay a visit to Sri Chitra Art Gallery. The gallery will be closed on Monday and Wednesday forenoons.
Visit the Kuthiramalika Palace Museum, is a palace built by Swathi Thirunal Rama Varma on the south-eastern side of Padmanabhaswamy temple. The palace gets its name from the 122 horses that are carved into the wooden wall brackets that support the southern roof. A portion of Kuthiramalika has been converted to a Palace Museum that houses some of the assets owned by the Travancore Royal Family. Although 80 rooms are there in the palace, only 20 are open for visitors. The entry ticket is priced at Rs 70 per person for Indian nationals and Rs 200 for foreigners. The palace will be closed on Mondays.
Then visit Kanakakkunnu Palace, an epitome of architectural beauty and was used by the Travancore Royal Family for hosting banquets. Today, it's a venue for cultural events against the backdrop of its majestic structure. It is located close to Napier Museum. Every year from October to March, the Department of Tourism hosts an all-India dance festival, where people from far-off places gather here to witness some incredible performances. The palace will be closed on Monday.
Embark on a journey to Varkala (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes drive). Guests will be checked in a star resort near the beach. Relax and fresh up. Guest will enjoy at Varkala Beach, known for its natural fisheries and springs. Have your dinner at a beachside restaurant.
Day 11
Explore Varkala Cliff, Walk along the picturesque Varkala Cliff, which offers breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea. You'll find numerous shops, cafes, and guesthouses lining the cliff. Take your time to browse through the shops selling souvenirs, clothing, and local handicrafts. Visit Janardhana Swamy Temple, located near the cliff, this ancient temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Explore the temple complex, admire its architecture, and soak in the spiritual ambiance. Spend some time relaxing on the beach. You can sunbathe, swim in the refreshing waters, or simply lounge on the sands.
Visit the Sivagiri Mutt, a famous ashram founded by the social reformer Sree Narayana Guru. The ashram is also his final resting place. Return to Varkala Beach in the evening to witness the mesmerizing sunset. Find a comfortable spot on the beach or the cliff, and watch as the sky transforms into a palette of vibrant colors. After sunset, indulge in a sumptuous dinner at a beachside restaurant. Enjoy fresh seafood delicacies or other local specialties while listening to the sound of the waves. Wind down your day by taking a leisurely stroll along the cliff or beach, enjoying the cool sea breeze and the tranquil ambiance. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 12
After the Breakfast Checkout from the resort in Varkala. Depart to Munroe Island, renowned for its serene backwaters, lush greenery, and traditional Kerala village life. The distance between Varkala to Munroe Island is approximately 50 kilometers, and it takes around 2 hours to reach, depending on traffic conditions. Engage in water sports and canal tours. Go for a boating. The boat ride here is manual, without engines to disturb the peace and pollute the water. The best time to go for a boat ride is during sunrise or sunset when the sky becomes filled with beautiful colours that make the experience even more special. At the end of the boat ride you will come across thick mangrove plantations in the lake.
Explore the village. Walk or cycle through the narrow alleys of the village to see local village life. You can get to see farms, coir making and can also indulge in a bit of bird watching. Visit the Dutch Church, one of the oldest church in Kerala. Reaching here is a mini adventure in itself by crossing a railway line and walking across some fields. The church is isolated and not in use. Go to the S curve view point, S-shaped path that separates the lake from the backwaters. Several boats can be found here and you can come here to choose boating or canoe services. This spot is also famous for it’s sunrises and sunsets. Visit the John Munroe Bungalow, a 200 year old colonial bungalow belonging to the resident Colonel John Munroe and has now been converted into a mini museum. It houses several portraits of Munroe and his family and descendents.
In the evening, drive to Marari Beach. It takes around approximately 2 and half hours to reach. Marari is neat and clean, and almost plastic-free. It is one of the best sandy beaches in South Kerala adorned with a lot of coconut trees. The Marari beach is in a fishing village and is far from the noisy crowd and is detached from the world, which makes it ideal for honeymooners and families. Guests will be checked in to a homestay near the beach. Relax and freshen up. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 13
After Breakfast, Enjoy the morning at Marari Beach. Marari Beach is stunning and unspoiled, and one of the reasons behind it is that it is still lesser-known and has not been much affected by the over development of other tourist attractions. You won’t be able to do any water sports on this beach, and the beach is ideal only for swimming and spending quiet time. There are a lot of Ayurvedic spas are available in the proximity.
In the afternoon, leave for Fort Kochi. The distance between Marari to Fortkochi is approximately 44 kilometers, and it takes around 1 hour to reach, depending on traffic conditions. Guest will be check in to the hotel and freshen up. Visit the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, and walk through the colonial streets. In the evening, Enjoy a traditional Kathakali performance. When travelling to South India, one must watch the traditional Kathakali Dance which is one of the oldest theatre dance forms in the world. Kochi is one of the best places to witness this heritage dance form. Kathakali artists wear elaborate, billowing costumes with intricately painted faces, flowing scarves, detailed ornaments, and magnificent crowns. The Kathakali Centre is located on Fortkochi.
Day 14
After the breakfast,Guests will go to visit the Major tourist destinations in Kochi. They are;
Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace): Built by the Portuguese and later renovated by the Dutch, this palace showcases Kerala's traditional architecture and houses a collection of murals depicting Hindu mythology.
Jewish Synagogue (Paradesi Synagogue): Located in the heart of the Jew Town in Mattancherry, this synagogue is one of the oldest outside the Middle East countries. It is adorned with exquisite Chinese tiles and Belgian chandeliers.
Kerala Folklore Museum: This museum offers insights into Kerala's rich cultural heritage through its vast collection of artifacts, costumes, masks, and sculptures. The entry fee for visiting folklore museum in Kochi is Rs 100 per head for adults and Rs 50 per head for students.
